Come rain or shine, the tennis still continues throughout the winter at Headstone Tennis Club.

Congratulations to the Boys 8’s Team who won their match against Pitshanger Park Will to Win 28-4 on Sunday 10 February . All the boys: Aarav Henry, Ethan and Dhurv were fantastic and the well deserved hot chocolate after the match went down a treat! Great job boys!

The Junior tennis is coming to an end with the Winter Saturday’s (the last Saturday session is on 23 February) and the next course will begin in early March. Junior coaching on Saturday’s is 9am – 1pm. Our juniors have been playing in the Middlesex Junior Winter League and our fixtures for the Team Tennis League will be made next month.  We have 9 (8-18 years)  Junior teams this year – lots to look forward to!

Last Saturday 09 February, Elise, the young tennis player sponsored by Origin, spent the morning with our coaching groups, giving them tips and hitting with them. All had a great time and the fellow Headstoners got a glimpse of what could be. Elise is now on the Ladies tour and progressing very well. We will continue reporting on Elise and her progress. The Adult tennis also continues with matches on going matches in various Winter League matches and social tennis continues on Wednesday’s, Saturday’s and Sunday’s.
