Make mine a double; Headstone crowned champions in men’s and mixed leagues.

Congratulations to our super men’s and mixed doubles teams for securing a rare double in the Kenton Winter Floodlit Doubles League.

While most of us were hibernating through the cold, dark winter nights, our mixed team went unbeaten in their four fixtures to score top spot, while our men, led by skipper Isaku Takahashi, won four of their five matches to lift the trophy.

Congratulations to Tina Murray and Ben Murray, Olga Freely, James Lofthouse, Dilan Patel and Isaku who represented Headstone in the mixed.

Ben, James, Dilan and Isaku also led the men’s team with Nitin Aggarwal, William Cis Jr, Javiel Ma, Michael Murray, Ankur Tandon and Anish Ruparelia all contributing to the success.

Congratulations also go to our ladies team who came a solid third in a strong six team division. Olga and Rita Freely, Tina and Hannah Murray, Miranda Keeley, Natalia Krauz and Jasjit Kaur Bhandari formed the squad, who secured two perfect 16-0 wins during their campaign.
