A range of competitive tennis opportunities are available both within Headstone Tennis Club and also the ability to represent Headstone Tennis Club externally in organised leagues and tournaments. Competitions operate throughout the year and cater for the majority of abilities. A great way to test your tennis skills and ability in a competitive environment. Headstone currently enters 13 adult teams across five leagues, playing right through the summer and the winter.
Middlesex Summer League
Headstone Tennis Club competes in the Middlesex Summer League, entering 5 Men’s teams and 2 Women’s teams. The league operates between May and August on weekday evenings every year with 3 pairs of doubles playing 4 sets.
For the 2026 season our Men’s teams play in North West Divisions 1, 3, 6, 7 and 9, and our Women’s teams in North West Divisions 1 and 5.
Middlesex Floodlit Winter Competition
Headstone Tennis Club enters a team in the Men’s Middlesex Floodlit Winter Competition. The league operates between October and February every year. The format is 2 pairs doubles playing 4 sets.
Middlesex Winter Cup
Headstone Tennis Club enter a Mixed Doubles team into the Middlesex Winter Cup, operating between September and March.
Middlesex Winter Veterans League
Headstone Tennis Club competes in the Middlesex Winter Seniors league, entering a 40 & Over team currently in Division 4. It operates between September and March.
Kenton Winter Floodlit League
Headstone Tennis Club enters Men’s, Ladies’ and Mixed teams in the Kenton Winter Floodlit League, played under floodlights through the winter.
Middlesex Youth & National League
Headstone Tennis Club enters an Open Men’s team in the Middlesex Youth & National League, currently playing in Open Men’s Division 5. The league operates annually between April and June.
Club Championships
Headstone’s Club Championships are an annual event.
Events include: Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Men’s Veteran’s, Men’s Plate, Ladies Singles, Ladies Plate, Ladies Doubles, Mixed Doubles.
Junior Club Championships also take place with a variety of events taking place for ages between 10 to 18 for boys and girls.
All members are encouraged to enter!
