A range of competitive tennis opportunities are available both within Headstone Tennis Club and also the ability to represent Headstone Tennis Club externally in organised leagues and tournaments. Competitions operate throughout the year and cater for the majority of abilities. A great way to test your tennis skills and ability in a competitive environment.
Middlesex Summer Tennis League
Headstone Tennis Club competes in the Middlesex Summer Tennis League entering 6 Men’s teams and 1 Ladies team. The league operates between May and August on weekday evenings every year with 3 pairs of doubles playing 4 sets.
The Ladies team plays in Division 2.
The Men’s team has teams in Divisions: Premier, 2, 5, 7 and 10.
Middlesex Floodlit Winter Competition
Headstone Tennis Club enters a team in the Men’s Middlesex Floodlit Winter Competition. The league operates between October and February every year. The format is 2 pairs doubles playing 4 sets.
Middlesex Winter Cup
Headstone Tennis Club enter a Mixed Doubles team into the Middlesex Winter Cup, operating between September and March.
Middlesex Winter Veterans League
Headstone Tennis Club competes in the Middelsex Winter Veterans League which operates between September and March.
Team Tennis Middlesex
Headstone Tennis Club enters a number of teams in the Men’s Team Tennis Middlesex league. The league operates annually between April and June. The 2 Men’s teams play in Division 7 and 9.
Club Championships
Headstone’s Club Championships are an annual event.
Events include: Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, Men’s Veteran’s, Men’s Plate, Ladies Singles, Ladies Plate, Ladies Doubles, Mixed Doubles.
Junior Club Championships also take place with a variety of events taking place for ages between 10 to 18 for boys and girls.
All members are encouraged to enter!
Headstone Tennis Club Singles Tennis Ladder
Headstone operates a tennis ladder with over 15 players involved for singles players. Enjoy competitive singles tennis all year round!
Rules are simple…you can challenge a player up to 3 spots above you. Get challenging and playing!
