The tennis season culminated with the Finals Day held on Saturday 7th September at Headstone Tennis Club & what a great day is was!! We couldn’t have asked for a better day. Fine weather & fantastic tennis for all the spectators to enjoy.
The day started at 9 a.m. with the junior finals with the senior finals starting at midday.
The matches both senior & junior were fiercely contended with many going to three sets. results of all the matches are below with the winners in bold.
As is the tradition at Headstone food was available throughout the day with a lunchtime barbecue and afternoon tea.
Our Awards Evening, when we celebrate all the successes, is on Friday 11th October.
