Anyone for Darts?
A great night of darts fun for adults and juniors on Friday 5th April as part of our winter social evenings. Congratulations to the juniors winners Ria and Shreya and in the adults category Sarah, Dave, James and Niten.
Tennis on and off the courts!
Last weekend was extra busy at Headstone Tennis Club with not one, but two tournaments. On Friday 5th October, the social committee hosted a Table Tennis Tournament as part of our Friday night social events. On Sunday 7Th October, the Norman Plate tournament was held in memory of Julia Ginger’s parents with funds raised being split between two charities, Cancer Research UK & The Alzheimer’s Association.
Macmillan Coffee Morning 2018
On Sunday 30th September, the social committee held their first Macmillan Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. The event was a great success and we were overwhelmed at the generosity of our members, neighbours and friends who turned out to join us for a coffee and a well deserved slice of cake in return for a donation.
Bollywood Evening
Headstone Tennis Club put the rackets aside, turned the heat up and on a very special Saturday evening hosted it’s very own Bollywood evening! With the Indian summer weather to match everything you can expect from a Bollywood bonaza – food, dance, colour, fun and not to mention some fantastic outfits!
Jubilee Tournament
Congratulations to everyone who attended the Jubilee Tournament held on Sunday 3rd June 2018. A great afternoon of tennis with tea and cakes – what more perfect way to celebrate the Queen’s birthday! The weather was beautiful and well done to Tina Murray and Olga Freely as the winners of the 2018 Jubilee tournament.
Introducing Cardio Tennis for Kids
Headstone Tennis Club are introducing Cardio Tennis for Kids – all the benefits of Cardio Tennis, but for Juniors! Join us for this high intensity / interval training, the perfect way to burn calories, improving speed, movement, co-ordination, all whilst having fun.

It’s back again..the Great British Tennis Weekend at Headstone Tennis Club on 12 May 2018 at 10.00 – 15.00. Open to all. Spread the word. A great day for all (all for free!) Whether you are a player, a beginner, returning to tennis, a junior or adult there will be sessions run to suit all, why not come along and try the fantastic tennis facilities at Headstone Tennis Club. Why not bring the family for a fun filled experience for all!
Holiday Camps
Headstone Tennis Club run fun holiday camps during term time holidays between Easter and October. The clubs run all day from 9:30am to 4:00pm with the option to attend half days if preferred.
Awards Evening 2017
The culmination of the tennis season…Headstone Tennis Club’s Awards Evening. Congratulations to all participants and particularly winners and runners up of all leagues and tournaments across Junior and Adult categories.
Clubhouse Revamp Updates
You may have noticed a few changes to the appearance of the clubhouse recently. We are currently undertaking a revamp with a lovely new colour scheme, bright seating and a fresh overall look. We are thrilled with the design work so far, led by local interior designer Carolyn Fox.
